Shadowbinder Nekyros is the key to unlocking the potential of cursed relics known as Shadow Gear — mysterious equipment forged in the aftermath of Babylon’s incursion into the Rift.

You can find Nekyros' Projection in the Capital to purchase Shadow Gear. However, only the real Nekyros in Devil Square can refine it.

Refinement Details

- Each refinement increases Shadow Gear stats
- Requires 1 Essence Flask per attempt
- Refinement does not fail — but each upgrade draws the gear deeper into Babylon’s curse
- Max refinement level: +10

Essence Flasks are obtained through the Rebirth System.

Important Notes

Shadow Gears are incredibly strong — but cursed.

They only activate in cursed zones, such as:

- Devil Square  
- The Archives of Babylon
