Battle Grounds Update

We've taken a closer look at the long-term impact of BG badge rewards and made a few key changes to improve balance and sustainability. Badge sinks help, but they’re not enough by themselves. To ensure long-term stability without creating a gap between new and veteran players, we've made the following adjustments:

⚖️ Badge Reward Adjustments

  • All base badge rewards from all BG modes have been reduced by 2.
    • This is a small reduction — during Happy Hour, it translates to only 5–6 fewer badges per round.
    • While barely noticeable short-term, this change helps maintain a healthier economy over time.
  • Badge reward bonuses have been reworked to be more linear.
    • Previous bonus scaling (player count → bonus %):
      • 10 → 45%
      • 18 → 55%
      • 28 → 65%
      • 40 → 100%
      • 60 → 110%
      • 80 → 120%
      • 100 → 130%
    • New bonus scaling:
      • 10 → 45%
      • 20 → 55%
      • 30 → 65%
      • 40 → 75%
      • 50 → 85%
      • 60 → 95%
      • 70+ → 105%
    • These changes are designed to scale more gradually with player count, offering sustainable rewards as BG participation grows.
    • Note: For the past 10 days, BG has typically run below 20v20 — so current rewards should remain unaffected for now.

🎯 New: Badge Rush Event

A new Badge Rush Machine has been added in the main town as an additional badge sink and reward source.

  • Cost: 200 BG badges per spin
  • How it works: Players spend badges for a random chance at prizes, distributed across three tiers:

Tier 1 (58% chance)
