As the competition in the MR community keeps intnsifying, we will focus our efforts in marketing to the European demographic. On a side note, we are already starting to dig into new content so we hope everyone will have plenty of things to keep them entertained.
Battleground Changes:
- Re-did the entire mapflag system for BG, each mode has its own flag where we can customize skills and items
- Emergency call has been disabled in KvM
- The ecall after each round has been reomved
- Champion snap skill has been enabled in Conquest and Dominion
Global Changes:
- Remove early access to priest and ninja set
- Updated Cash shop to include new costumes and Babylon item
Devil Square:
- Drastically reduced cost of shadow gear and added a duplicate npc in the npc zone where the referal npc is
Babylon Updates:
- Babylon items and sets re-added into WoE boxes
- Edited priest set so it doesnt multi spam agi+bless - dscription modified to reflect new edit
- Star gladiator phase 1 is complete
- 28779, 28780, 28781 are the item ids on test server, help us out by testing it since we plan to add it in a few weeks
- Added Ninja and priest set quests to instance npc
- Enabled BG consumables on all babylon maps
- Added new mapflag for babylon maps
- all babylon maps all the use of DS god items
Introducing our new content introduction system
Adding new content takes a long time and a lot of testing. We go from a concept to a rough draft, then test server implementation, then testing and finally main server early access and finally quests. A single set of items can take weeks and the pace is much too slow for a mid rate server. However even after all that testing, we still need to rebalance items, so just adding content at a fast pace is also not the solution since it can ruin BG and other events. As a result we are now returning to our babylon expansion with a few addons.
The babylon expansion will have its own set of rules. Items attained in babylon will only be useable in babylon maps and devil square. This gives us a lot of creative freedom without infringing on the much demanded balance. We can add renewal content, rush out custom sets and items without the risk of these items breaking any existing content.
