Season 6 Changelog: Post-Launch Patch Notes & Upcoming BG Update

Changes Already Live

• Auto proxy connection enabled
• Fixed zoom limit in indoor maps
• Disabled Novice castles

This feature (from Season 5) was underused and caused confusion. It may return in a future update.

• Fixed multiple broken custom quests
• Moved the Wandering Spirit NPC closer to the fountain
• Disabled official Valkyrie rebirth
• Corrected item descriptions for Steel God's Set
• Fixed extended vending system
• Resolved Freebie Packs, Loyalty Packs, and added Compensation Packs
• Fixed mob spawns in Novice Grounds
• Fixed critical error with out-of-range targeting
• Fixed storage crash — max storage now set to 600
• Removed spam messages when switching maps
• Fixed pet evolution item requirement display window

Changes Going Live After the Update

• @showexp command fixed
• Louyang New Year Hat now drops Red Envelopes year-round
• Custom pets will no longer run away
• Pets no longer lose loyalty when the owner dies
• Box of Sunlight card drop rate reduced
• @go npc location fixed
• @vip cost halved

This was forgotten — not worth the price before, but now may be viable.

• Spider Web added to Tool Dealer under Catalyst
• Tool Dealer now accepts "Enter" to confirm item quantity
• Item information now viewable on the website

Battlegrounds Activation

The Battleground system officially launches with this patch.

Enabled Modes

• Conquest
• Team Deathmatch (TDM)
• Dominion
• Rush

Disabled Modes

• KvM
• Capture the Flag (CTF)

System Info

• Minimum requirement: 4v4

Known Bug: Alt+G Crash

There is a rare crash that may occur during Battlegrounds if you press Alt+G and open the Members tab.

It behaves like an Alt+F4 force-close. We're unable to reproduce it consistently — if it happens, please report it so we can investigate further.

Castle Wars System Disabled

The Castle Wars feature introduced in Season 5 is being disabled for now.

Reasons:

• Documentation is incomplete
• System caused confusion and frustration
• Complaints outweighed the feature's current value

Changes:

• System disabled entirely
• All castles removed
• Will be reintroduced with proper documentation
• No compensation will be given

Upcoming Client Patch (within 7 days)

A new client patch is being prepared.

What’s included:

• Increased inventory limit
• Increased chat limit
• Possible fix for Homunculus AI
• Possible fix for Level 99 aura display

You may be prompted to re-download WoonRO.exe A direct download link will also be available if patching fails.

4RTools Package for Season 6

A pre-configured version of 4RTools for Season 6 is available: File: 4RTools - Woon S6.zip Size: 2.98 MB

You can use this immediately after downloading.

GRF Patch Error — Quick Fix

If you get a cannot open woonro.grf error during patching:

Fix:

• Grab woonro.grf and server.dat from the original compressed download
• Replace those files in your WoonRO folder
• Repatch

This only affects cosmetic/status icons for now — not urgent, but recommended.
